Installing mods in Farming Simulator 25 is very easy and only takes a few minutes. Mods come in ZIP files and can be added manually to your game. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Download the Mod
Download the mod you want. It should be a .zip file (do not extract it).
Step 2: Check the ZIP File
Open the ZIP file once and make sure it shows the mod files directly inside, like modDesc.xml, vehicle.xml, etc.
If you see another folder inside (for example, modname/modDesc.xml), that’s wrong. The game will not read it.
You need to re-zip the files so the mod files are directly inside the ZIP, not inside another folder.
Step 3: Move the Mod File
Go to your Farming Simulator 25 folder:
Documents → My Games → FarmingSimulator25 → mods
Place your mod’s ZIP file there.
Step 4: Start the Game
Open the game and go to the Mods section or start a new save.
Find your mod in the list and activate it.
